Carolina Crafting

The craft show I did in Hayesville a couple of weeks ago had more that just crafters and artists. There were writers, too. (a word crafter) What a treat. The North Carolina Writer’s Network West was there and read some of their works. My booth was near the stage and I had the best seat in the house.

My favorite local writer is Glenda Beall and she was there with her new book of poetry “Now Might as Well Be Then”  Glenda teaches writing at the John C. Campbell Folk school.  She is teaching two classes in 2010. She is so inspiring.
