Get out your comfy shoes, a shopping bag and some cash, small bills, please. It’s craft show season. Between now and the second week in December there will be at least one, maybe more, shows in your area every week.
This weekend is a great show in Young Harris, Ga. It’s at the Mayor’s Park tomorrow, 10-5. I’m going early, before it gets too hot !!!
Next weekend is the Heritage Walk and Festival in Murphy NC. The craft show will be at the L&N Station, the farmer’s market will be in town and there will be tours of the historic sites in the city. This show is always great. Lots of food and good music, too.
Be sure and mark your calenders for the first weekend in October for the Fall Festival at the John C. Campbell Folk School.
