Cal Fenner, BA, MFA. Cal currently lives in Brasstown, North Carolina, and has spent most of his adult life in the Russian River area of Northern California, where he was proprietor of C&S custom weavers in Sebastopol. He has been production weaving for 22 years. His work is featured in the finest galleries throughout the southeast. Cal has refined rag weaving using the finest materials available. For the “weft” Cal uses recycled and new wool as well as cashmere. The “warp” is 100% mercerized cotton by Supreme set at 12 ends per inch. Cal is now wholesaling these fine rugs to you through his web site www.handwovenwoolrugs.com. Each rug is approximately 1/4″ – 3/8″ thick and is reversible. Most are “one of a kind”.  When they are sold they will be replaced by different rugs altogether. New rugs will be added once or twice a month. At this time custom designs are being accepted only through current customers.
