Carolina Crafting

I should have posted last week but I’ve had what ever is going around. I get an allergy problem every year around this time. So, sorry I’m late with the news about the Fall Festival at the John C. Campbell Folk School.

It was wonderful, the weather was perfect, crowd was huge (13,000) great food and good sales. Perfect !!!!

My booth was down in a little hollow. This year there were lots of other crafters so more people came down to shop. I like it in the hollow.

My friends, Joan and Mike from Sleepy Hollow Gourd farm were across from me. They are so much fun. They have an upcoming show on Carolina Crafting later in the season. You’ll love it. Also taped are Mike Lalone and Jo Kilmer. Great artists.

Ran into my friend Charlotte Norton. She has the spinning show. She’s promised to do a doll making class when we tape again in the Spring.

And finally, my husband, wondering how I could have sold 48 pumpkins in one day and how he was going to be able to cut enough wood for me for next week when I do Autumn Gathering at the Macon Co. Fair grounds in Franklin.
